  14. Cardinal MPV288IV - I need a basic string that will put the modem in 2400 
  15. baud mode with no error correction, compression or anything, ie. strip it 
  16. down to basics. I need to communicate with a local university library 
  17. that cannot handshake with anything more than tin cans and string!
